OGNI was born from a shared passion for food and culture, blending the rich culinary traditions of South and Southeast Asia with contemporary Australian flair. Our name, meaning “fire” in Bengali, reflects our focus on using smoke and flame to create depth and richness in every dish. Founders Sarah Tiong and Rashedul ‘Rashie’ Hasan, both MasterChef Australia alumni, bring their diverse backgrounds and love for innovative cuisine to OGNI. Our dishes are a tribute to our heritage, migration stories, and the dynamic food culture of Australia.
